Industrielle sur pied – 66 in – Metal light assemblage

This 66-inch floor lamp-sculpture fully embodies Philippe Malo’s reimagined industrial aesthetic. Slender and minimalist, it stands on a base made of reclaimed mechanical components, whose solidity contrasts with the refined vertical metal rod rising toward the light.

The tall cylindrical shade, perforated with an irregular, mosaic-like pattern, casts a warm glow and creates subtle graphic shadows on surrounding walls. Its strong verticality and clean lines give the piece a contemporary, almost architectural presence.

Here, the artist highlights the raw beauty of industrial materials: worn surfaces, polished metal, and components transformed from their original purpose. The result is a functional sculpture that shapes the atmosphere while carrying Malo’s distinctive artistic fingerprint.
