Original artwork.
Dimension organique is a mixed-media artwork on wood by Hélène Lafontaine, where nature and abstraction meet in a composition filled with movement and depth. True to her artistic approach, the artist incorporates pieces of wood retrieved from lake bottoms and small stones shaped by water and time. Organic forms in copper tones appear to float among flowing black and golden lines that travel across the surface like roots or natural currents. Mineral shades of gray, beige, and ochre, illuminated by touches of white, bring softness and balance to the composition. Subtle squares reminiscent of her Pixelism style add a contemporary dimension to this artwork, where every natural element seems to tell its own story. A composition that invites the viewer’s gaze to wander freely through materials, textures, and imagination.
