LIVE ARTIST – Philippe Malo and upcycling on July 13 and 14

Philippe will demonstrate his technique at the gallery.

For the month of July, our live artist is Philippe Malo, a sculptor who engages in upcycling, a recycling practice that involves transforming waste into new products of greater value. Upcycling aims for zero waste and is beneficial for the environment, aligning with the trend of the circular economy.

“I now work on reclaiming objects that life has left behind and giving them new life in the form of functional sculptures. Descended from the lineage of Quebecois tinkerers, I engage in high-flying crafts. Without welding and in a mechanical manner, the pieces find their place and fit together.”

Join us to watch him work and learn more about this approach.
