In this dizzying scene, Manon Potvin transforms the city into a space of tension between gravity and elevation. The buildings appear to tilt under the influence of an invisible force, while colorful umbrellas rise among the clouds, evoking the chakras and the different energy centres that accompany us on our inner journey.

Waterfalls, bubbles, and air currents introduce a sense of fluidity that contrasts with the rigidity of the architecture. The composition invites us to move beyond density, control, and attachment to the material world in order to rediscover a subtler balance between body, mind, and energy. Ascension thus becomes the symbol of inner awakening and movement toward a freer and more luminous consciousness.
