Harmonie hivernale is a pixelism acrylic on canvas by Hélène Lafontaine. In this luminous landscape, the artist conveys the peaceful beauty of winter through a scene where snow, trees, and water echo one another in serene balance. True to her pictorial language, she builds the composition from juxtaposed rectangular shapes, with no diagonals or curves, allowing light to shimmer across the snowy surface and in the reflections of the stream. Deep blues, luminous whites, and warm orange accents create a delicate contrast that brings the scene to life. Poised between figuration and abstraction, this work invites contemplation and the quiet softness of a winter landscape.
