Jardin aquatique

Manon Potvin MAP2229

Original artwork

Milkweed, a weed? Algae, slimy?
How many things and beings of seemingly ordinary appearance have I encountered without truly lingering on them?
And yet all it took was a spark of curiosity for a thousand and one wonders to be revealed to me.
The undeniable intelligence of Life is immense; in awe, I surrender myself to it.

                                                            Manon Potvin

In this light-filled work, Manon Potvin invites us into a contemplative immersion in a universe where the aquatic world becomes a place of revelation. Among swaying seaweed, sunbeams, and floating vegetal forms, a feminine figure appears to emerge as an embodiment of the grace of life, carried by a sense of trust and surrender.

Here, the artist highlights the beauty of what we might too easily overlook. Elements often perceived as ordinary or unremarkable are transformed into precious presences, inhabited by poetic and symbolic force. Butterflies, light, and plant life create a subtle dialogue between water, air, and earthly life, reminding us that everything is interconnected. The artwork thus invites us to look at life anew and to recognize, in its humblest manifestations, a deep, generous, and wonderfully fertile intelligence.
