Original artwork.

L’heure sereine is a pixelism acrylic on canvas by Hélène Lafontaine. In this light-filled composition, the artist evokes the peaceful beauty of a woodland scene at a moment when time seems to stand still. Tall, slender trees rise within a luminous atmosphere where soft greens, golden yellows, and touches of orange gently vibrate. True to her Pixelism approach, Hélène Lafontaine builds the image from juxtaposed rectangular shapes, with no diagonals or curves, allowing light to move through the scene with calm intensity. Poised between figuration and abstraction, this work invites the viewer to experience a moment of silence, warmth, and harmony in the heart of nature.
