Original artwork.

With Chaises pliantes (Folding Chairs), Debby Talbot invites us into a charming, sunlit retreat surrounded by lush greenery. Two brightly colored folding chairs face each other across a small table adorned with plants, beneath a large umbrella in warm shades of orange and gold. The scene evokes the gentle pleasures of summer, spontaneous conversations, and those precious moments when time seems to stand still.

Through her distinctive technique of mosaic made from acrylic fragments on canvas, the artist transforms this familiar setting into a vibrant composition rich in texture. Touches of turquoise, green, and yellow blend with the umbrella’s warm tones, creating beautiful contrasts. Each fragment brings the scene to life, capturing an inviting atmosphere where nature and color intertwine harmoniously.

A luminous and charming artwork that transports us to a secret garden, inviting daydreams, relaxation, and tranquility.
