For Humberto Pinochet, travel is a continuous source of inspiration. Thematically diverse, his works are windows onto a world that the artist invites us to discover. Urban scenes, landscapes and seascapes are some of his favourite themes.

I am a Quebec painter whose practice explores memory, places, and emotional sensitivity through an intuitive and evocative pictorial approach. Since childhood, drawing and painting have held a central place in my life, quickly becoming privileged means of expression and personal exploration.

Since 1986, Jean-Pierre has felt the need to create an entirely new world. He embarks on an exciting quest, tirelessly sketching to invent a phantasmagorical world, straight from his imagination... This dreamlike world has inhabited him for over 37 years and is called the AVA Universe.
